Great book with a super quick delivery to the UK

I live in the UK but there was no option for me to buy this book from amazon.co.uk, unless I paid �188 for it! Here the seller was very easy to approach and he sent the book to me on the same day.
I have recently received it, I wasn’t expecting such quick delivery! It is in perfect condition. And the price was very competitive too.
This is something I have been looking for. I am a MSc student building her career as a specialised Sonographer. Physics is one of those things that scares a lot of people, but what I find is that the more we sonographers, cardiologists, critical care specialists and others know about echo physics the better we are in our diagnosis and clinical management.
The Principles of Ultrasound Physics book is a brilliant choice for literately anyone, even for people without basic knowledge of ultrasound technology. It is surprisingly slim, has great diagrams, pictures and explains things succinctly. It concisely outlines the core areas first and then explains each topics in detail. At the end of each chapter there are some brilliant MCQ questions for you to check how much you understood.
I would highly recommend it anyone who:
-is a student
-wants to finally master physics in a quick and very efficient way
-develop a vast interest for medical ultrasound
-build up on their knowledge (as a clinician, sonographer, other HC specialist)
-better understand the topics of echo/vascular physics and image optimization.

Best Basics of Ultrasound Physics Book

I used this book for the ASCeXam physics portion and did extremely well_(~90%). Ultrasound principles from the basic level to understanding exactly the engineering principles of how an ultrasound machine produces an image are nicely and clearly covered in this book. Nothing more than high school physics is necessary. There's no calculus or diffiQ required. A simple understanding of wave properties and function are all that are needed. This book is great for the bottom line. I understand better how my ultrasound machine works from ground up to improve imaging. This book has definitely made me a better echocardiographer both in the OR and in the peri-operative clinic. If you're looking for more advanced imaging details and theorectical concepts - there's a host of more in-depth textbooks (not covered here). But for the bottom line, this book is great.

One of the best physic books! Even though its pretty old,it has a lot useful info that new boojs doesn't have.Helped me to understand basics and pass my Ultrasound Physic Exam!
