This is one of the best books I've red about loosing weight

This is one of the best books I've red about loosing weight. The irony is that this book wasn't meant to give advise on weight loss but rather to slow down the aging process. People who follow this lifestyle find them self to loose weight as well as people with diabetes find that they gradually can use less insulin.
I am not finish with the book and by following the guidelines I find that I don't get sugar cravings and don't want to eat in between meals anymore.

Healthy eating habits made easy!

This book does give a comprehensive overview of the relationship between our health and the food we eat, without getting too much into technical details.
It outlines perfectly which sources of nutrition are good and which are the ones better to avoid. The author does not pretend to invent a diet himself; he formulates it as "building on the shoulders of the giants in medicine", although he is a respected medical professor himself. He brings together a lot of scattered information and visualizes it in a very clear "hourglass" model.
Contrary to the one negative comment, I find the scientific argumentation convincing and I have checked some of the literature where I had questions (he writes for a non-scientific audience!)

Great book about nutrition that allows your body to lose weight automatically

I was impressed by this book because of its clarity about metabolism (without too much chemistry) and the role that nutrition plays in preventing disease, e.g., diabetes and heart disease, and therefore living longer. The author is a doctor who has had practical experience with patients, which lends credence to his writing.
A very beneficial added benefit in following the author's advice is automatic weight loss. I have been following his directions for about two weeks and have already noticed some weight loss around my waist.
And his directions are easy to follow. The hourglass shows what to give up at the top and what to replace it with at the bottom. Reducing carbohydrates and sugar is the key and his book shows how to do it easily.
There are a few typos but don't let that put you off. This is an excellent book.
